In the starting time KOTOR, there was a whole sidequest in Manaan where you acted as the defence force lawyer for a Republic soldier defendant of murdering a Sith amanuensis. This quest is its equivalent in this game; lots of talking to people and investigating a murder, gathering show, etc. Information technology'southward also got an... interesting ending.
